I’ve long been passionate about Essential Oils and the many benefits they provide. In the past, I created blends for myself, family, and friends but I became concerned that I didn’t know enough about how these powerful oils could potentially interact with other medications or treatment plans being used. 

To ensure I practiced safely, I went back to school and trained to become a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional, recognized by the governing bodies of the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. 

I am currently pursuing study in Herbalism, a further complement for client health by tapping into therapeutic benefits of even more of our earth’s plants.  

My desire to help others and to do no harm, led me to open Purple Iris Aromatherapy and Natural Health & Beauty Products.

I’d like to partner with you to seek solutions for your health concerns and provide you with a line of products that align with improving or maintaining your health.

We owe it to ourselves to care for our physical, mental, and emotional self. Aromatherapy can provide a complementary role alongside western medicine, to the benefit of you, the client. My vision is to help people feel their best and look their best. 

I’m often creating aromatherapy blends and products, or immersed in continuing education as well as being a wife, a bonus Mom, an Oma to 2 granddaughters and a pet mom to our dog, Murphy. I’m a lover of music, though admittedly my enthusiasm far outweighs my musical talent. An avid gardener, Spring and Summer find me in my healing garden tending botanicals used in my products. In addition to the plants, herbs, and flowers, that often make their way into the products I create, I garden with my husband growing our seasonal vegetables. Who doesn’t love a fresh carrot pulled right from the warm soil? I also enjoy crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Life is full, and I am grateful for all my blessings.
